Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is a broadcast journalist in the US. She is best known as anchor for the CNN morning show At This Hour. Earlier she co-anchored the CNN on weekdays morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNNs prize-winning coverage of the presidential 2012 and 2016 elections. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent from Washington, DC who covered the activities of both Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. In her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit Bolduan reported about the legislative process and events in the Congress, such as discussions to raise the federal debt limit and super committee discussion. As a general assignment reporter she covered news stories such as the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare in addition to the progress of federal stimulus programs for 2009. She joined CNN the year 2007 to become a national correspondent in CNN New source. Fantasia Monique Barrino is an American R&B musician as well as an actor. At the age 19, she won her first American Idol competition.
